I read Cliff's book but I didn't notice anywhere that mentioned if there was an optimum size for the secondary accelerating holes under the air flaps. Does anyone know what the best size would be for an 800 cfm quadrajet? I'm building a Buick carb to use and the holes on the 73' Buick carb look rather small when compared to the Pontiac Quadrajets I own.
Thanks

The optimum hole size will depend more on application than carb number. We usually put them around .050" for mild set-ups, and as large as .059" for big cid engines and high performance work.....Cliff
