Title: Waiting time for Cliff's shop to do a rebuild?
Post by: 64twoton on June 30, 2015, 10:34:36 AM
With the time I've wasted messing with kids, wife and life I probably could've had Cliff rebuild one for me.

What's the average turn around time for Cliff's shop to do a rebuild/clean/preliminary set up?

I know that there will be adjustments on my end, just want to know what to expect if he does this service..

Thanks. E

 Welcome to CHP!

Give the shop a call. Best way to find out.  :)

We're less than 6 months for sure, been working hard and hired some additional help to get caught up some.

Marine carbs and Motorhome units we still turn around very quickly since they are seasonal, restorations are the longest wait.

We also do a LOT of "tune-ups", which means the carb only needs use to get it correctly set-up for what you are doing, and all the cleaning, plating, etc is already done.  We do those jobs in between the big jobs.....Cliff

Not sure how far down in line your carb is, I'll have to check when I get to the shop on Monday.....Cliff
