Cliff can my 800cfm be changed to a 850 cfm....you have my carb,if it can be done great and how much?? thanks Steve

7042240...this is the one I sent back in September..I need as much cfm as i can get since Buick's love big Carbs thanks Steve

The Buick castings for the 71-74 455's are the larger castings.  Edelbrock used the larger castings from the early 80's Chevrolet Truck engines to make their "850" cfm RPM q-jets.  They were nothing more than recalibrated standard units.  Your Buick 455 carb will flow as much as, if not slightly more than the Edelbrock 850 unit.....Cliff

I recently set up a Buick casting for use in FAST.  The engine dyno'd at 668hp and runs mid-10's on bias ply street tires!......Cliff

No, the car is an early Pontiac Firebird, owned/built by Rick Mahoney and Scott Tieman.....Cliff
