What size are your air bleeds now? Size will be equal to tap size.

But, probably no bigger than a #10 tap I would imagine.

My air bleeds are .118... That's why I need to install snaller ones. I found a bunch of press-ins and a bunch of screw-ins I had lying around.
I need to know what thread size those screw in air bleeds are?

I've personally reduced .120" air bleeds by tapping them 10-32, then installing new custom air bleeds made out of 10-32 brass set screws.  I've also reduced .120" air bleeds by inserting the factory idle down channel restrictions' "cups" then resizing them to desired size (.070" in my case).

I prefer using the press-in's that Cliff sells, but I have a bunch of his screw-in's lying around and I might as well use them. I just need to know what thread size they have... the air screw-in bleeds that Cliff sells...

Cliff would be best to answer then, since he sells them.

I think 8-32 is the size you want.

Thanks 77cruiser.
yeah, Cliff would know, but I figured people in here had installed them plenty of times, so someone would know too.

We sell them in 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, and 10-32.  8-32 is the most popular to use for DCR's and MAB's......Cliff

Oh, I didn't know there were different sizes!
I will try an 8-32 tap first. Thanks.

For which size? All but the 10-32 are UNC. The 10-32 is UNF.
