I picked up a 17058531 Quadrajet yesterday. Numbers come back as a 1978 CA Emissions Cadillac, which is exactly what I pulled it off of. The Eldorado had a 425. I have had excellent experiences with Quadrajets and Cliff's instructions in the past and am going to convert my 351M Ford over. With this being a CA emissions carb, (most likely leaner across the board) and considering the factory calibration is for a 425, will I be way off base putting it on a 351, or should I find another carb off a 350 or something like that? Any input will be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jesse

I suppose I should clarify that I will be rebuilding and modifying as needed :)

Nice carb, slightly leaner in stock form compared to the 48 State version, but a good candidate for what you are doing.....Cliff

Thanks for the reply, Cliff. I will be giving you a call shortly so we can put together a kit for this thing.
Take care.
