Title: Drilling idle mixture screw opening
Post by: Jeff1 on January 16, 2016, 08:26:13 AM
Could someone explain the proper procedure for drilling the idle mixture passages correctly.  Do I drill completely through tho the primary bore? I red and re red but I'm missing something.   Thanks

Mixture passages as in idle mixture screw holes? If so you are only enlarging the existing holes under the mixture screws after they are removed. Your drill bit will be visible inside  the throttle bore when you drill thru and thats it.

Thanks Blazer74.  That was the info I needed. I'm still not sure what the tapered part of the mixture seat into. It may be just a taper or restriction in the idle mixture opening and the limiting factor is the mixture scream bottoms on the threads.  Thanks again.
