Some advise against mounting a Qjet with a spreadbore spacer, since the spacer creates turbulence.
I have a buddy who owns a '62 Olds with 394 and the old 4-jet is really worn and old. Despite a recent rebuild, the car runs less than satisfactory.
Ofvourse, installing an Edelbrock would be an easy way around this, but it would cost the same to put in a Qjet build by me, included the cost of the spacer.
Yay or nay on Qjet with a spacer?

The real question here is, if the possible disturbance in flow, that the adapter creates, will offset the advantages the Qjet has over the Edelbrock?
