Title: Holes in carb body
Post by: bigvette1 on March 22, 2010, 12:36:19 PM
I have a Q-Jet I am working on to restore.  I just tried to post with pics and it blew up .  Here we go again.  Anyway there is a hole all the way through the casting at the bottom of the power piston well.  I really don't think this is normal - but want confirmation from the forum.  Thx.

This is perfectly normal. The hole going all the way through is the vacuum-
supply hole that supplies the vacuum that pulls down the power piston.
