Hey all. Looking for some help. I picked up what I believe is a # 3970010 1975 Chevy 350 corvette motor with a 1975 quadrajet. But on the carb there is no 7 before the 045222 and theres a r6 and 1085. I need to know about the power piston. All the quadrajets that I have seen from this era have a stem coming out of the bottom of the power piston. This one doesn't. Its empty. Is this something special for the corvette motor or do I need a new power piston.
Thanks, Vance

That Quadrajet has the internal adjustable part throttle screw, so it has a different power piston and does not have the pin in bottom.

Also, a lot of the Rochester's did not have the "7" before the rest of the numbers. Why, I don't know?
