Title: 7029241 Rebuild
Post by: Marx3 on April 05, 2010, 10:06:30 PM
Hi, I am rebuilding this Buick carb. It is going to sit on a stock 1969 430.

Specs are:

idle tubes: somewhat less than .040
DCR: .047
By-pass air .070
Low. Idle .083
up. idle ( body ) .052
main air Body/Airhorn: .069/.043
jets: 70
rods: 45B

rods: AY .060
hanger: M

Should I rebuild it for recipe 1, or should I just change a few things?

I am placing an order for everything I need as soon as I am ready to order.

I'd build it with the stock specs and try to free up the APT screw in the baseplate.  We can supply an external screw with the kit so settings can be made on the engine...thanks....Cliff

Okay so leave everything as it is!! I have another carb coming up for rebuilding, so as soon as I have that one disassembled, I will call you for parts etc. Thanks!
