Hello All,
I have a Q-Jet on my 1970 Firebird. Carb number is 17056262.
I just rebuilt the carb and quickly realized the secondary metering rods and hanger are missing.
With so many metering rod and hanger options I'm not sure which one is right for my application.
The engine is a Pontiac 350 10:1 compression with a mild cam and an automatic.
Some guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome to CHP, Brock!
Has there been any modifications done to the carb, i.e. enlarging main air bleeds, restrictors, idle tubes, etc.?
-
Thanks!
Not that I'm aware of.

Not that I'm aware of.
Well, the stock secondary metering rods were "DB" and a "K" Hanger. What metering rods are in there now?
-
There aren't any in there now. Someone rebuilt the carb prior to my ownership and never reinstalled the secondary rods and hanger.
This is very helpful. Thank you!!

Sorry, should have been more clear. What PRIMARY metering rods are in there now? What jets?

I don't recall what primary components are in there.
