hi Cliff,
i have a quad 17081276 what is this for and what is the cfm. it is a rebiuld that i have on my 81 turbo trans am

Is it one of the computer controlled 301 carburetors or a standard unit?....Cliff

hi Cliff

my car is an turbo import to canada they were the same as 1980 US style carb 17081274 is supposed to be the correct but i would like to know if this one i have will work also, hope you can help

If it is a turbo carburetor, there will NOT be hole in the throttle body to supply vacuum to the power piston.  The vacuum is routed in from the front of the throttle body between the mixture screws.  It should go thru a device in line to keep from pressurizing the PP under boost.....Cliff
