Title: Gasohol?
Post by: Toronado on May 27, 2010, 02:02:14 AM
Any one here ever run gasohol 10% alcohol to fuel for
high compression engines. Its suppose to be much
better at raising the octane than any octane booster can.
Its suppose to be safe on the engine and does not cost much.
I have used iso heat for the winter but never 10%iso  to 90%pertro,
its suppose to rasie it like 5-8octane not points.

I've been using it since 1980 in almost every vehicle I own.

Z-E-R-O problems that I can blame on the alcohol content.

Gasohol (E-10) is terrible farm, fuel, and environmental POLICY...but it makes fine fuel.
