Title: Acell. discharge holes on airhorn have me confused
Post by: Mr.Pontiac on May 06, 2018, 12:27:12 PM
I see where they are no problem , why i am confused is you have a small hole then a slot then the continuing hole. Does the fuel only come out of center slot area only???? explain please, opening them up on both sides of the slot or just one???

If you are talking about the primary accl pump discharge holes they are located deeper into the casting on the inner partition.  The holes are very tiny, usually around .026" or so.  In most cases no need to open them up much further and no need to open up the holes in the outer partition.....Cliff

Keep in mind that the hole size controls duration with any given pump length.

Smaller holes will have longer duration of the pump shot, larger holes will dump the accl pump fuel sooner.......Cliff
