Title: 7029263 plastic fast idle cam replacement

I have a 7029263 Q-Jet I'm restoring.  It came with the old style plastic fast idle cam.  The cam had a couple of cracks in it and rather than try to epoxy them, I'd like to know if anyone knows the number of the proper replacement part.

according to my book the part no. is 7040806  doesn't say if  its plastic or metal hth
