I am trying to retain CCC , the engine is a stroked BBC to 486 30 over eagle kit
8.5 compression with a mild cam , runs great with a standard carburetor ,
my question is what jets and metering rods should i change too and can
the computer work with this size engine , Car is a 1983 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham
although custom ( Super Stepside Pickup ), i'm reading a lot on your site and
also through a few books on what to look for and how to set up but not
sure if i will end up lean in the end

check out gearhead-efi.com and post on their forums. the ecu controls timing and you can burn a chip to modify the timing table. this will help a lot. the other option is to converted to a mechanical distributor.

Thank you
i did us a vacuum advance distributor with the holley carb i a running now,
and have changed to a standard Transmission ,
but would like the option of going back to stock , i may just remove
the computer and use a vacuum switch for the 700R4 but
was going to play with the original stuff first just as a project.
