Title: 17086008 on 87 cutlass vin Y TPS ADJUSTMENT ?

I have a engine light coming on periodically and from what I have seen on a troubleshoot page on this is pointing to an adjustment on the TPS and is there a tool for this procedure ? and is there a replacement TPS available for it ? Thanks for any help available

The TPS are readily available.  Cheap on Ebay so I don't even bother to market them.

Access and adjustment is a little tricky, you have to remove the aluminum cover over it and find a way to turn it.  It's the smallest hex head screw you will ever see!......Cliff

I just gently drive a small roll pin over them then pull it off when I'm done....

87 Cutlass W/307 Vin Y !!! Still having a light flash on with a code 13 ( after setting TPS and timing ) and what feels like a slight miss or T/converter lockup and let go again at 45-50 mph ! 1706008 on 87 Cutlass W/4 speed O/D trans ! Looking for any possible advice out there ? Thanks for any suggestions !
