Just bought a decant basket case carb. 7040262. it had 71 jets intact but no metering rods, can i get some help on witch rod to use?? I am guessing something like a 41 or 40 rod??

7040262 1970 Bonneville Q-jet uses #72 jets and primary rods stamped #44. Secondary rods stamped BE.

Is it going on the stock 1970 Pontiac engine with no modifications?
Even if it was it's too lean on this new fuel with the stock jets/metering rods. Call the shop if you need a better calibration and rebuild kit to get it up to par for this new fuel and calibrated for what you are going to use it on......tks....Cliff
