Title: DECODING MY QUADRAJET

Hello all...I am looking to get smart on what i'm looking at and have a few questions. My carb is off my '69 Judge RA III. Its an early judge so it has some late '68 parts on it which is to be expected. The serial number is as follows: 28273XX 3448. From what I've read, early units didn't have the "70" on it, so that explains that. What i'm unsure of is the "XX"

Second, on the base plate, drivers side rear section just outside the rear bolt hole, there's a machined flat spot with the stamping "39 Y" which is positioned over a stamped "1"

XX is the plant code for 7028273.

Ahhh....ok! I kinda suspected it, but didn’t find much info on my own.
