Power piston length is 1.950 with.340 o.d.,believed to be factory unit, I bought your white retaining repair bushings earlier. Don`t fit bore on 67,s.. I also bought steel sleeve that goes around power piston bore to hold down power piston. When installed power piston is coming up to far and with new metering rods I just bought from you are coming out of the jets. I know there was a metal sleeve that goes downinside with power piston. I don`t have one. What should I do to make it work.

They didn't start using a plastic bushing to retain the power piston until 1968.
I have the other style retainers for the early carbs that stop the travel of the power piston flush wit the top of the bore.....

IS it the steel one that wraps around the power piston bore with 2 ears on it. I have that one I bought from you before. Yes power piston comes up flush with bore but the metering rods you sent me for the 67 are sticking out of the jets.? I mic,ed the length when I removed it at 1.950, ; Can I send you a picture please. Rich
