identified as a 75-76 pontiac auto 400 carb
I need to know what the factory primary jet and rod sizes are supposed to be

Which style APT system is it using, front located or in front of the power piston?....Cliff

There were several different calibrations used on the Pontiac carburetors from that period. Not sure exactly what the SR would have used?
The factory models often have .072" main jets, and 43K or 44L metering rods in them.
I set most of them up here with our .073" main jets and custom .044" primary rods. I don't like using "K" metering rods, and they are two stepped instead of having a nice tapered section between steps......Cliff

this is the carb that came with my car, the previous owner had it on there a long time, I was looking for a base line before I get new jets and rods for my 17057263
I think the 17054914 had 72 and 43 stepped rods, but I could never get it to run properly because the base plate was bad and wrong for my manual car.
I would like to get a bushing kit with the drill bit, one extra set of bushings and new jets and the custom rods and the power piston spring kit for the 17057263

Just call the shop when you get time, we take most major credit cards, and sell all of the items in our HP kits separately...thanks...Cliff
