I have a 68 400 Pontiac engine that was rebuilt and modified by going 0.040 over on the bore, lengthening the stroke to 4.25" that makes it basically 462CI. the cam is a Pontiac 068 grind and the pistons are dished to bring the compression down to 9.5, TH400 Auto and a 3.36:1 posi rear end.
I have the original carb (rebuilt be Cliffs for stock application) my question is should I upgrade/modify this carb to match the new engine specs? My goal for the car is to have good street manners but a decent amount of zip. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Dean

Unlikely you'd have to do anything as the 068 cam in a 455 build is very mild......

Thanks Cliff, good street manners were my #1 priority.
