Title: Newbie(to quadrajet)
Post by: 4speed455 on October 24, 2020, 10:29:03 AM
My account has finally been approved! I’ve been lurking for a few months and I am finally getting ready to tackle a few projects. I’m just learning about quadrajet carbs, and I posted a few new topics already related to what I have going on.

Currently I have a factory stock 1968 455 in a 1970 Cutlass Supreme Convertible(W30 tribute/restomod). Cam and pistons are still factory installed and the heads have never been removed from the block. New oil pump and timing chain, plus Performer manifold, headers, and HEI.

I recently removed and sold my Edelbrock 1407 and replaced it with beautiful 7040256(restamp) that I am going to modify to my motor, and eventually I plan on building a 17057553 for when I do a cam swap.

I’ve already learned a ton of stuff on here and from the book but I’m sure I will have many more questions in the future. Thanks for adding me, Joel.
