Title: Carb. 17081217 need metering rods booster ring removed

What to try this carb. On my drag car for fun. Carb had 72 jets I stepped it up to 74,`s as your book says to do. I now am looking for metering rods .035 smaller for it that I cannot find.Looks I need a M rods 40, smallest I have found are 49M. Can you help me out.?

Removing the outer booster ring kills signal to the jets so you need to add fuel everyplace.

If its a single main airbleed carb I'd go down to metering rods with smaller .026" tips.  They are available with smaller upper sections unlike the "M" series rods.

You can find plenty of "K" series in the .040-.043" range with .026" tips.  "J" or "L" would be even better.......
