Title: ccc q jet wont run right at facotry seting

ccc feed back q jet wont run right at factory setings it will olny reach 30 deg of dell on set up at 4.5 turns on lower srews and the air bleed ajusted out of spec. there are no vac leaks. engine is new and fresh and is stock base toiming set at 8 deg adavces 30 deg run at ides at 15  on an 83 chevy k10 5.7

Which way is the idle airbleed screw set, all the way down, or all the way up?....Cliff

air bleed is almost allthe way down  id say maby a turn and a half away fromt botom. i have thethexton gageing tool to set them up with as well as the lean athorty tool and the rich  ajustemnt is set to 4/32 with the gage for that.

Down  would be the richest idle setting.  Sounds like it wants more idle fuel.  Did you make any engine changes, cam, etc, during the rebuild?.....Cliff

no changes is should be a stock engine its a jasper remain as far as i know ot stock inside
