Hello, would this be a reman tag or original tag? Thanks.
-
What is the carburetor part number?
Any more pics of it.
Doesn't appear to be your typical "frankencarb" with all the finish removed and cheap shiny Phillips head screws holding it together.
Might be a Service Replacement carb, but I can't tell for sure from that pic....

What is the Julian Date beside the part number?. I've never seen that part number as a "Service Replacement" but they could have made some.
It appears to be either a "service replacement" or possibly factory "remanufactured" or at least done very well. They even have limiters over the idle mixture screws which are very rare to see these days as is a white stripe on the vacuum hose.
It's not one of those "hacked" up POS commercially remanufactured units for sure and it's in really nice shape and pretty much unmolested either way........Cliff

Sure looks like 16th day of 1978.
Came with a white Rochester cover.
No Box, Has a slight bend up to the throttle arm from miss handling before i had it.

It's dated correctly for the 1978 model year, so not a SR unit.....
