Title: Grease the accelerator pump?

Got my kit and starting the rebuild. Have seen on rebuild videos where people put some lithium grease on the accelerator pump but no mention of that in Cliff’s book that I can find. Is it helpful/unnecessary/harmful?

I always put a little bit of seafoam or WD on it but I dont
think you have to use any lube on it. The lithium grease might
be good if you were going to box it up and store it for a while.

If you bought my kit nothing is needed on the accl pump seal.  It is a USA made part, lifetime warranty and doesn't need any help.....
