Title: Qjet Jetting for a 326
Post by: Ponchojoe on August 01, 2024, 12:44:49 PM
Hi, been awhile since I’ve had a Pontiac but recently purchased a nice restored 67 LeMans with a 326, TH350 and 3.55 gears. It has a 1406 Eclone on it but it is flat in the secondary’s so I’m thinking of building my 17056261 carb and adding 68 intake.
About 6 years ago I built this carb using Cliffs book for a good running 462 with a 704 Lunati and ported 96s.
I am wondering what a good starting point is for this carb for the 326 which has maybe a one step up cam and 140 heads (9.2:1ish)
Thanks
Joe

How is the carburetor set up now, jets, metering rods,  idle system, etc?
