I got my brass set screws and they are great, the bit goes through it like butter!
I've had some steel ones of the same size and it's impossible to drill those.
Here's my question, these will work fantastic for any hole size up to probably .065, .066, but what do you do if you want to go bigger?
Is there a larger set screw that is still small enough to work so you're not drilling huge holes in your carb, (huge being relative to the bleed hole size of course)?
Any bigger hole in the set screw and it effectively wipes out the hex socket portion of it.

Yea then you have to go up in size, 8-32 works good for DCR & 10-32 if you want to do idle tubes.
If you could find slotted brass set screws you could do it.

I have to laugh, when I first read your reply, my immediate thoughts were, "How in the hell can you get a slotted hole in one of these ", lol!
Then it hit me, it would use a standard screwdriver, Duh!!
Anyway, I found the other sizes at McMasters, I'll be ordering them this weekend. Thanks for your help and the tips. Much appreciated.
