Title: SOLD - Rochester quadrajet 7042240 -800cfm

I decided to sell off one of my carbs. is this 7042240 Buick rated at 800 cfm great starter carb. for the hot rod guy. Personally removed idle tubes set them at .037 and added new 73 jets, new primary and secondary metering rods, j hanger, new secondary plastic cam and spring. Also added a new primary and secondary choke pull-offs. Great starter carb. cleaned and replated every part by myself. New screws installed plus checked to make sure secondarys open to a full 90 degree,s/ 200.00$ plus shipping costs.

Hello. What kind of motor was this carb built for??  Did you replace the accelerator pump with one of the new HP style? Did you ever run it on a motor? Sorry for all the quetions!!  Will you be at the pontiac Nationals at Summit Dragway Park?  Thx Paul
