Title: Air Horn Baffle

What's the real deal with these , I have seen some carb's with them and some without, what do they really do ?? Should you run them in a performance mode. ?

If you are describing the deflector right behind the choke housing, use it, or expoxy shut the large slotted vent.  It is there to keep fuel from being pulled out of that vent on hard launches.

NOT really a big deal for most cars, but some really fast cars leave hard enough for fuel to slosh up out the trough and get pulled into the secondaries.....Cliff

Thanks Cliff, I already bought everything I needfor this carb including the 2 screws before I found your  great site.  I will be purchasing from you in the future though.
