I have a 800 cfm Buick carb I'd like to use on my newly rebuilt Pontiac 400.
Engine and drive train as follows:
Bored 0.030
Summit 2801 (068 type) cam
6X-4 heads (lightly ported and shaved 0.040)
Performer Intake
Stock HEI conversion
Three tube headers and 2 1/2" exhaust with x-pipe / tailpipes
Turbo 400 with modified valve body (drilled)
3:55 "peg leg" rear end
Carb #7043240
Car to be street driven with some drag strip action. (Goal is 13.7 seconds in 1/4 mile.)
Since the carb needs a complete rebuild, what parts are needed ? Do I stick with the stock jets and rods ?
I have Cliff's book.

Looks like I posted this in the wong slot.
Anyway, I'll answer my own question. The shape this carb is in, just about everything needs to be replaced.
I'll have to identify my jets and hangers. Then go from there.

It will need some help for what you are doing. Calibration is close. Best to just call the shop when you are ready to do the build, and we'll supply what you need to set it up for what you are doing...thanks...Cliff

Sounds like a winner Cliff.
At 9 to 1 compression, I'm probably asking a lot from this combo.
Oh I forgot, I'm runiing a stock type converter.
I'll give you guys a call.
