Title: Question on California carb

My truck is originaly from California and I am still using the original carb although it is not the original engine. The carb number is 17059506. My question is if there is a difference between Fed. and Cal. carbs? Is it ok to use this one? I am looking to buy a carb kit and bushings from you. Thanks

Tim, there is very little actual difference, other than the California emission standard for any given model year were tighter than 48 State, so expect a leaner calibration across the board, if comparing carburetors by part number, for example 17059206 vs 17059506, etc......Cliff
