Cliff, The guys at Pontiac street performance said you could set me up with a continental torque converter for my car. Its for a TH-400 tranny powered by a Pontiac 1974 455 bored 30 over thats going into a 1977 Pontiac Trans-Am . the cam is a Comps XE284H. C.R. is going to be around 9.5:1 rear gears are 3:42, the car is just going to be a weekend driver. Will the flex plate mounting holes , in the converter come drill and tapped? Will it need a special flexlate? Any help would be appreciated! Thank You.

This is almost the same setup I have. I put Cliffs recommended 13" Continental Pontiac Special in my car and it works much better then the Hughes I had.. That one worked well but this one grabs hold much faster...
