Cliff's Quadrajet Parts and Rebuild Kits

What are these for? They look like three rubber scraper ring type seals and a nylon shaft bushing, but not sure what their purpose is. I'm guessing the bushing is for the air valve shaft on the secondaries, but not sure about the rubber seals.

For where the choke shaft goes through the side of the main body? Between Cliff's book and youtube, that would be my guess!

The rubber seals are for the choke housing and the choke shaft where it goes into the main casting.
The plastic split collar replaces the solid collar on the power piston.....

Does the rubber seal go on the inside of the carb body or the outside?

one goes outside before the choke housing bolts on. the other goes IN the choke housing before the choke shaft gets installed.
