Float problem

Gas coming past needle.I can apply pressure to the to the fulcrum,gas stops,if I apply pressure phenolic retainer gas bypasses needle.Any suggestions?Also should airhorn be flat all the way across and diagonally using a flat edge.The airhorn is true except across front mounting holes.

Make sure the hinge pin isn't compressed too much and spread it out slighty if it is.

Do not hang the little clip on the needle thru either hole in the float arm.

Make sure that you are using a good quality Viton tipped needle/seat assembly.  Our kits come with them....Cliff
