CARB WORKS GREAT! HOW ABOUT A TRANNY KIT
« on: May 09, 2009, 12:10:04 PM »
He Cliff this is Casey out in phx, Finally finished the carb rebuild.  I only had one issue with the accelerator pump but quickly resolved it. I couldnt believe It actually ran first try once I got a new battery for the nova. I still have brake line to run before I can test drive.

Next on my list is the 700r4 build. Your book on carbs gives me the convidence to tackle the tranny. I have torn down serveral when I worked for GM but never built one to put into service. Usually just assemble them for cores so I am not a complete stranger to them. So my question to you are you going to assemble a tranny kit or do you reccomend one? There are so many different kits out there that I would prefer to use one that comes recommended then just one off ebay. Any help would be great! I do have you book for the trannies already.

Thxs
Casey

Good news!

Our transmisson supplier got bought out, so right now we aren't able to put kits together at competitive prices.  Trying to sort all that out as I type this....Cliff
