Power Piston Travel?

How much "travel" is normal for this thing......#7040244, Buick GS 350....When installed, it only travels about 1/4" to 5/16". Seems like hardly any movement at all. I don't know, maybe a little is "enough".

There is no "normal" amount of travel, the factory used the APT system in the baseplate to fine tune metering rod height per application....Cliff
