1968 cutlass 350,automatic 350 turbo, .278 gear, originall 2brl. has 4brl. intake and carb from 69/70 442.

carb stamped #7040251  RJ 1060 X  says it came from a manual transmission car.does this matter performance wise?
She idles OK just a little stutter. takes off fine if you ease into throttle. But, if You punch WOT she bogs then takes off.
just wondering if I should look for different carb or will this one be OK to redo for my car? Also , Do You know what the RJ 1060 X Means?

Thanks, had car for a month And A half

Check pump shot from the accl pump.  Most likely insufficient or delayed pump shot, or both.  I would get one of our kits, it has a complete accl pump assembly in it that is far superior to anything else you will find out there.....Cliff
