Well most of my post disappeared.

Here's the basics. I bought this 67 GTO new in California in 1967 prior to going overseas in 68. It was the 335 HP Q-jet 400 CID engine with automatic, AC and A.I.R. I sold the car with my parents in TN and sometime in the next year my dad had it "federalized" (Removed A.I.R. and California Q-jet at the recommendation of his mechanic). 10 years later I came home and the car was ok but not as strong as before. The replacement carb was for a big engine Buick. I could not take position of the GTO for a number of years with a young family and apartment living. During those years the car sat under an apple tree and rust attacked. I got the car back in 83 and started a restoration.

Freshened the engine (63000 miles) with new rings, bearings and a ???68 cam I believe (360HP Pontiac cam) I researched the carb and found a 7028262 that I bought and put a NAPA carb kit in :-[. Then hurt my back and stopped the project. Flash forward. I am getting it ready to take to FL for my son and his family to finish the resto.

I need a rebuild kit and any other items that you might recommend to build a good carb for this car. The primaries jets are 73 with 43 rods. Primary shaft had teflon tape wrapped around it  :o by someone before I got it and they are pretty loose. Secondary shaft still has the green coating and I can't move them vertically and appear tight, so bushings are in order.

Thanks for any help Cliff. please make me a shopping list.

Phone call volume is heavy, so if I don't answer leave a good message and number and I'll call you back...tks....
