Looking for an expert answer. Rebuilding this 17056207 carb off a '76 Corvette. I'm having an issue deciding if this is the correct way to measure the choke flap against the back wall. I've followed the instructions but I can't determine if this is correct or not.
From the back wall to the choke flap opening while on the second step of the fast idle cam should be 21/64ths of an inch. I can match that with a drill bit however because of the tiny slack in the choke arm connector (the piece that connects the linkage to the choke flap rod shaft) I get different readings.
