Best electric conversion kit on market but one question
« on: July 23, 2022, 07:07:49 AM »
Your electric kit is simply the best but one question, my pig tail is at 6-7 o clock and there is a lot of tension on the pull-off cam behind the aluminum housing, how much tension should there be on it, choke blade is shut and has tension on it, is this normal, followed all directions to a t. Will the 12 volts slowly open it up once spring heats up? Love to see a short install video of installation.

Before you set the choke flap position, block the throttle open with something.
This will keep the fast idle cam from fighting you. Rotate the choke heater back
and forth and watch for smooth opening and closing of the flap. Rotate till it
just closes and lock it down. Then you can procede to the rest of the choke set-up.
And yes, at this point you can apply 12 volts and watch the choke open. should take
2 to 3 minutes to full open.
