Where/ What location, do you measure the Idle Bypass Air hole/passage ?
Page 94,95,96 shows several different sizes options from : none -.050- .080- .085- .106- .110 inch

There are pictures and explanations on pages 29-30.
Measurements are taken in the throttle plate or blade holes.

Yep, that's where I measured . .106" stock hole 1980 carb , and .092" on a 1971 carb
Maybe those none, .050", .080" etc on page 94, 95 came from older 1960s carbs

Not necessarily. The numbers you see on these pages are examples of possible recipes depending on the application, not examples of by-pass on factory units.
