USPS just lost a shipment that left here last week. Gone into oblivion. The driver picked up 15 outgoing packages and only scanned four of them and the entire shipment has no movement or tracking scans now for over a week.
I went to the Post Office and talked to the shipping clerk, and the Postmaster and they simply tell me that due to the really bad weather the packages are probably stuck on a truck in Columbus Ohio.
My question to them, that they couldn't answer is why the driver didn't scan ALL the packages before he left the shop? They carry that little GPS thing around for a reason...right?
Isn't the whole plan to keep track of shipments as to when and where they were picked up and movements from point to point thru the system?
In any case here we are over a week later and ALL those packages are still missing with no scans here or at the next distribution point....LOVELY!......rant over....
