Sounds  like some nice cars.
Check out this pictures I found of them. I was curious what they were.
Chevrolet V-8's in the Diplomat-B..
Admiral Photos were a little harder to find
Is your Record an Old one like this?

Hello !
The  Opel Diplomat-A had an engine 4,9L. It was built from 1963 to 1968.
The Opel Diplomat- A Coupe with the new 327 engine was build for 615 pices.
The B model was built from 1969 to1977 with the Corvette engine and a outher carb.

greetings
Michael

Those cars are COOL!  They look pretty light as well.  I'll bet they are strong performers with the 327 V-8 engine.  The 327 Chevrolet small block engine was one of the best engines ever produced, IMHO.  The Chrysler 340 engine is another........Cliff

Hi,
@Cliff: Really, the Chevy 327 cui engine is very good !
On the highway I was driven 240 km/h and there was air between the pedal and the end.
