Rebuild Parts Needed for 17058212?

I have a quadrajet 17058212 off of a 1978 2wd GMC Sierra 25 Pickup w/ the 454 CID engine.  I want to rebuild it for the same vehicle.  I noticed how I bog down with any kind of acceleration.  I don't plan to race the truck but wouldn't mind the truck responding well to all accelertion levels.  I plan on redoing the bushings and doing the major overhaul.  Can you reccommended to me the right size idle tubes, metering rods, jets and if I could do the flap adjusting screw thing and any of the other mods you would suggest.

When you get time, call the shop and we'll get what you need headed your way.  Those are nice carburetors, the last of the divorced choke models.  We will need all the engine specs to help out with tuning parts......Cliff
