Nice. I am just barely getting into machining. I can prep metal and plastic and am not awful with a hand drill but don't have the space for a proper shop yet. I'd like to get a bench lathe, grinder and drill press when I move into my next place. If it doesn't have a big enough garage I'll put a workshop in the back.

The last time I used a lathe was almost 20 years ago, and that was a wood lathe. :(

my buddy has machines that will handle 2 foot 20 foot stuff. his shop is only 1/2 mile from my house. it makes it kind of nice. he will let me run anything in the shop.

Sounds like you have it made man. Haha. Sure wish I have that kind of machinery. :(
