« on: September 25, 2015, 09:50:01 AM »
What are the differences in original spec on these two?  Any differences externally?

Thanks for looking!

There is no difference in main jetting and metering rods. But, 3202 is for an A/T, while the 3203 is for the M/T. So, the linkage on the base plate could be different. 8)

Thanks Ethan.  I'll try to find some pictures of the manual linkage to see how it is different.

You also have to remember, that the M/T cars ran leaner than an A/T car. So, the air bleeds, etc. could be different sizes. The vacuum ports may be different as well.

There was a Buick guy asking for data and help.  I'm not building this one.
He has a factory 4 speed car that has an auto code quadrajet on it.   He thinks it is all factory original and wanted to know difference in the two, other than the stamp.

Thanks for your help.
