Unicase th350 rebuild

Been reading Cliffs th350 book and about to rebuild a unicase 350 and have a few questions,were these mostly used behind 6 cylinder cars? If so how many clutches do they hold and can they be upgraded to hold more?

All TH350's can be upgraded to have maximum clutch capacity in each drum. This is done by either using the shortest apply pistons or machining the ones you have as shown in my book......
