Complete Fuel System

Hello Guys I am new to the Site I would like to know if anyone would be willing to share a proven  QJet fuel system. I am building a stock appearing 408 sbc for my 67 Chevelle. A full run down from a stock tank to the carb would save me a ton on time. I run Dean Oliver carbs. Thanks, i

I have a high pressure in tank pump & Aeroquip regulator with return back to tank.

If you can buy a new tank with a pump and sump ready to go that would be best. If you want to re-work your tank I would copy what the factory engineers do on new stuff. Cut it up and install a baffle system around an in-tank pump. Some of the ultra late model stuff uses a returnless style pump. You want a return style. N/A gas engine at 600HP will need about 50GPH at 7PSI. Many pumps will work that are designed for factory cars. I know a Bosch 044 or a Denso unit from a mid 90's Supra will work on anything to at least 750HP. There are many others I'm sure will work. It doesn't matter if they are for FI or not they will work fine a 7 PSI. they just flow more. Don't mount the pump on the frame, keep it in the tank. and if you do don't put a filter between the pickup and the pump. Too much head loss thru the filter. Run 8AN lines to and from the carb. mount the regulator downstream of the carb. Not dead head. You can put it back of the frame near the tank if needed. On the return line. It doesn't matter.
